We know the the sleep only work in VSH not in games or homebrews.
Has anyone written a plugin to automatically sleep the device after some time?
If not, I may write one myself.

IIRC the PSP did auto sleep in my EBOOT homebrew. Games must be sending ticks to keep it awake.

Yes, that would be hard. I don't know whether there is a way to detect all the key event to keep the program awake.
